The first snow day of the season is always exciting!  It’s an unexpected day off!  Our family loves to lounge around in their pj’s, drink hot chocolate and get in the hot tub!   Shoveling a path to the hot tub is top priority for our children.  There is nothing better than watching the snow fall from the comfort and warmth of our Caldera hot tub.  

Most of our customers in the Baltimore area keep their hot tubs running all winter long.  The maintenance on Caldera Spas has become so simple and energy efficient.  We recommend maintaining a proper water level, keeping the filter clean and checking the pH and sanitizer.  For added energy efficiency, be sure your cover is not water logged and fits properly and securely.  A quality cover will also improve safety and avoid unnecessary damage to your cover lifter and the spa cabinet.  Your spa cover will also assist the filtration system in operating more efficiently.  Our retail and service staff is available all winter to help answer questions and problem solve. 

A  twenty minute soak in your hot tub is great for soothing sore muscles after a day of skiing, snowboarding, skating or even shoveling.    It’s also a terrific way to beat the winter blues or just enjoy some “down time” with your family, especially after a busy holiday season!
